We removed quite a bit of Crofton Weed at the Reserve Road site in February. It was relatively easy to pull out and we bagged it. Here are some images of the weed below.

We met on a relatively sunny Saturday afternoon (it even got hot!) to continue our removal of wisteria, agapanthus, Crofton weed, blackberry, Coreopsis and Watsonia, among other things, at the Reserve Road site.
Watch these lovely videos provided by one of our volunteers, Paul Vale, of the cascade in Coachwood Glen Nature Reserve:
This is the latest site for our Coates Park team! These photos were taken on the 28/11/2020 – our first foray into this site. The team has subsequently done a lot more work here and we will post more photos from our next meeting (this coming Saturday 26 Feb 2021).
As you will see, it is a mix of agapanthus, coreopsis, Watsonia and (not visible here) a whole lot of wisteria!
Before and after weeding shots
Weeding along the creekline at Gloria Park on Sun 21 Nov, we found some Turkey Rhubarb or Rambling Dock, Acetosa sagittata. It has these large potato-like tubers under the ground, all of which you have to find and dig up in order to eradicate it!
